Layos Camp Santander
Located just 200 meters from the picturesque Loredo beach in the Santander Bay, our camp offers an exceptional setting where surfing took its first steps in Spain. With eight kilometers of expansive sandy beach, this environment provides multiple ideal waves for both beginners and those looking to perfect their surfing skills. This thrilling water sport has gained popularity among the youth, and it's not hard to understand why. In addition to being a comprehensive activity, surfing promotes fun, health, and well-being. The sea, our valuable ally, transforms into a natural classroom to foster the development of a sense of responsibility and respect for nature among our participants

Our Layos Camp monitors, trained in our official Castillo de Layos school, will be in charge of attending to the students the rest of the day. Completing a program in which there will be no lack of fun, team activities; soccer, beach volleyball, gymkhanas, chess, music. We will give special importance to our main “challenges” in the “teen” programs. They reinforce the values that we understand to be most important at this age. Teamwork, camaraderie, will and perseverance.
The age of our students is homogeneous which allows us to carry out all the activities together. A small number of students creates a family atmosphere in the camp.
Homemade food made in the camp with quality, fresh and natural products. Students participate in culinary tasks and learn to cook and be self-sufficient. Special food for diets, allergies or intolerances.
There is a medical center 5 minutes from the facilities that attends us 24 hours a day. For possible visits to the doctor, we ask you to send us a copy of the printed social security card or, failing that, the private insurance. All children are also covered by private camp insurance
For the Santander Surf Camp it is mandatory to wear the 3 t-shirts, 3 pants and the sweatshirt: €120 uniform.
We accept uniforms from other years or from former students. The uniform must be ordered at the time of online registration. As every year we ask you to please bring a small suitcase.
In all programs we include round trip transportation from Madrid to each camp. We make an appointment with the parents at a meeting point and the children always travel accompanied by monitors. A private minibus takes us to the different activities and excursions.
LayosCamp offers a collection and delivery service at the airport or station for those children traveling from abroad, price to be agreed with the office. We will need full arrival and departure details.
Mobile phones will only be allowed for 1 hour a day.
