This page explains how to delete your counsellor account in the LayosCamp Monitor mobile app, what is deleted, what is kept and why. You can do it from the app itself (recommended) or by writing to us if you have lost access.
Option 1 — From the app (recommended)
- Open the LayosCamp Monitor app and sign in with your account.
- Go to Mi perfil → Seguridad → Borrar mi cuenta (My profile → Security → Delete my account).
- Read the explanatory screen (what is deleted, what is kept).
- Tap Continuar con el borrado (Continue with deletion).
- Confirm your identity by entering your password.
- If you wish, write a reason (optional).
- Tap Sí, borrar mi cuenta (Yes, delete my account).
- You will receive a confirmation email.
Time frame: your account is deleted within a maximum of 30 days of your request.
Option 2 — By email (if you cannot access the app)
If you have lost your password, have uninstalled the app or for any other reason cannot do it from the app, write to our Data Protection Officer:
Subject: Account deletion request — Monitor app
Body (suggested): "I request the deletion of my counsellor account in the LayosCamp Monitor app. My registered email is [your email] and my DNI/NIE is [your DNI or NIE, to verify your identity]."
To verify that it is you who is requesting the deletion, we will ask you by email to confirm your identity (a photo of your DNI/NIE or a piece of information that only you could know). Time frame: your account will be deleted within a maximum of 30 days of verification.
What is deleted immediately (≤30 days)
- Your login email and your password.
- Your profile photo.
- Your non-mandatory personal data: mobile number, city, gender, date of birth, languages, skills, role preference.
- Your push notification tokens and subscriptions.
- Your local drafts in the app.
- Your password recovery tokens, if there were any.
What is deleted only if we never hired you
If you never signed an agreement or worked a session with us (you were only a candidate):
- Your DNI/NIE, Social Security number, IBAN.
- The criminal record certificate you may have uploaded (also deleted from secure storage).
- Your first name and surnames.
What is kept because the law requires it (and for how long)
If we did sign a contract or agreement with you, the law requires us to keep certain data for a period of time. We cannot delete them sooner, even if you expressly ask us to, but they are pseudonymised (not actively used) and accessible only at the request of a competent authority.

How we verify that we have complied
Every account deletion is recorded internally, stating what was deleted, what was kept, on what date and on what legal basis. This record is kept for 6 years and serves as proof of compliance before the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) in the event of a complaint.

Write to dpo@layoscamp.com. We reply within 1 month at most.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at aepd.es.
