First half of August · Castillo de Layos, Toledo · Ages 13 to 15
A smaller, more family-like group, where teenagers get to know each other straight away and a very special atmosphere forms.
It is also an international group: almost one in three campers comes from outside Spain, so living alongside boys and girls from other countries is part of the experience, and Spanish and English come up quite naturally every day.
It is also a perfect option for families who work in August and want their children to keep making the most of the summer: all kinds of sport, teamwork and leadership activities, evening activities, friends and plenty of time outdoors.
And, along the way, swapping quite a few hours of screen time for whole days of doing things, living together and having fun with others their age. Something that does no harm in August either.
The same service and the same ratio as in July: one counsellor for every four campers. And two things only August has: all transport is included, airport or station pick-up too if you are coming from abroad; and if the group did not reach the minimum needed to run it properly, we refund you in full.
Only need one week? Ask us about coming for just the first week of the fortnight. One-week places are limited and subject to availability.
Total Spanish-language environment. Activities, meals, daily life — everything in Spanish. The most natural and effective way for your child to truly learn the language.
Our 1:4 ratio means every child gets real attention. One qualified counsellor and one in training — from our own school — for every four kids.
100 hours theory + 150 hours supervised practice. 120 graduates a year. We only hire the best — and we train them ourselves. No agency, no strangers.
Over 40 years welcoming families from across Europe. Medical centre minutes away, 24 h nurse on site, accident insurance included. We take safety seriously.
Six activities a day in age-based groups, Olympics, a share of the camp duties and a schedule adapted to teenagers.
Climbing, swimming, horse riding, archery and air-rifle shooting, padel, tennis, golf, photography, theatre, cookery… with Olympics, evening events and a hand in the daily running of camp.
