A camp located on the beach of Los Lances (Tarifa) in the Natural Park of the Estrecho de Gibraltar, a unique space in which nature is the protagonist. The river Jara, the sea and the beach accompany us throughout the fortnight. Campers stay at the Río Jara campsite in Tarifa. The success of last year and the current circumstances invite us to repeat the experience. We have a limited area just for us, large, landscaped and facing the beach. Campers sleep in tents for two or three people, always separated by gender. Inside them we put mattresses with sheets, blankets and shelves to keep your clothes organized.
The main activity is sailing, although they combine it with many other activities. The sailing course is 20 hours and they take classes at the Real Club Marítimo de Sotogrande, which they attend two days a week. They will also do in Sotogrande paddle tennis and tennis in the Octogono club with qualified teachers.
On sailing, tennis and paddle days, students travel from Tarifa to Sotogrande (40 min drive) and spend the whole day there, doing sailing activities in the morning and tennis and paddle tennis in the afternoon. They eat in the dining room of the Real Club Marítimo reserved exclusively for our students. The rest of the activities are carried out in the camp.
Our camps are divided into three diferent age groups so that campers participate in sports, games and activities with peers of their same age.
Meals will be served in the dining room, organized by rooms. The counselors eat with their campers in order to make sure they don't lose weight and to keep an eye on them in the event they have any allergies or food intolerances.A healthy and balanced diet. Children eat with their room counsellor. We have options for those children with intolerances, allergies or special diets.
There is a doctor in Tarifa, who is able to assist the campers, any time during the day or the night, with whom we also have direct and easy contact.
We include incoming and outgoing transportation from Madrid to the camp for all our programmes. We meet the parents at a specific location and the children always travel with counsellors.
Layos Camp offers a pick-up and drop-off service at the airport or station for children who are travelling from abroad, with the price to be specified with the office depending on the schedule. We always need the full information on both arrival and departure times.
